The weather has finally turned good and we have been getting some balloon flights away over London and seeing preparation for some of the city’s summer’s events as we drift nearby Chelsea Flower show, Wimbledon and others in the early morning – before any tennis was being played of course!
At Hyde Park we have spied the preparations for the events starting this weekend which form part of "British Summer Time Hyde Park" with performances from the Rolling Stones, Elton John, Bon Jovi and the Kaiser Chiefs with supporting acts from the likes of Jake Bugg and others over the following fortnight. It certainly looks like they will have some good weather for the start of this event.
With no London balloon flights possible in 2012 because of the Olympics we have had our first aerial view of the Olympic Stadium since our 2011 season. A lot of change there as with the skyline of the central London with the Shard now complete and even more building going on in the square mile near the Gherkin.
Our London flight season schedules end mid August with only standby dates from then on so book onto a date soon if you want to make a balloon ride over London with us this summer.
