Its peak season for us now and our popular London hot air balloon rides are scheduled on weekday mornings through to mid August. Here’s one we did last week, with a final landing near Lewisham at HillyFields Park. Our flight took us over the Thames southwards to Dulwich at which point a change in height and wind direction had us tracking back in towards the Thames and Greenwich Common. Ballooning is of course weather dependant and our London flights more so than normal flights but despite this, 10 of the 16 passengers were flying on the first date they had booked. However one unlucky Hungarian couple on the flight had 13 cancelled flights before they flew. Lucky 13 for them!
