Great to fly over London this morning with such lovely passengers as we viewed the City of London from our balloon with the taller buildings poking through a thin veil of mist. And we certainly brightened the morning of residents near Alexandra Palace as we landed in front of the historic building at 6.45am after an hour long flight over Regents Park, Parliament Hill and many other well know London landmarks. Thanks to local resident Monika and her lurcher who came over and showed us her pictures taken from her bedroom window and then told us about Elsies Café on Priory Road N8 7RD which we can recommend. Unusually (as London flights are very weather dependent!) over half our passengers today were flying on the first date they had booked, including two visitors from Australia who were just passing through this week. And somehow we stumbled over this
