It’s the second half of September and before Autumn sets in Farmers are busy now with the maize harvest. On our Hampshire flight today we flew past a forage harvester combining maize and shooting it into the trailers of attending tractors. As soon as one is filled, the next tractor moves into position and the filling process starts again as the combine continues its steady pace across the field.
