Amelia & Tony
The weather this first May Bank Holiday has not been particularly good for ballooning. But on our balloon flight over Reading on Saturday 2nd May whilst at 2,500 feet brave Tony proposed to Amelia. Of course she said yes and all the other passengers cheered and wished them well. Whilst packing the balloon away with the other ladies on the flight, Amelia received words of wisdom and advice, and the happy couple returned to the take off site in the back row seats of the luxury coach that collected the passengers after the champagne toast.
Adam & Gemma
The next flyable slot was Monday morning the 4th May and again love was in the air. As we flew in the hot air balloon over Fleet in Hampshire, Adam proposed to Gemma. Again another yes, to applause from the passengers. Their final landing at Christmas Pie near Guildford in Surrey will not be forgotten. "Two flights and two proposals in succession is something of a record" said pilot Kim Hull. "The seats in our baskets provide somewhere for the proposing man to put their knee as they look up at their partner, yet another benefit for our seats designed to ensure safer landing!"
