Heathrow Air Traffic Controllers
On a recent flight over London we filled a few spare spaces with some of the Heathrow Air Traffic Controllers who we rely on to give us permission to make our flights in Class 1 airspace. They also enjoyed a breakfast at Monty's (See other article) as the wind blew us from the north down to Couldson. Here they are shortly after we crossed the Thames near Battersea Park. By calling their colleagues just before our take off (who were working!) and asking what wind the aircraft who were on approach to land were recording "on the nose" we knew we had enough wind to cross town. Thanks guys.
