Can you see Kenya on our Surrey Hot Air Balloon Rides?

When the wind takes our balloon over Hankley Common south of Farnham the pilots often point out how the common land areas look a little like the game reserves in the Masai Mara in Kenya. There is always a prize for the first passenger to spot a wildebeest! Just to the North of Hankley Common is the start of the River Wey, and here is a picture we took of our Happy Birthday Balloon flying over the river as it winds its way to the Mill at Elstead. Now have a look at a similar picture taken by company pilot Kim Hull when flying in Kenya over 15 years ago!
